Focused Improvement is a structured team-based improvement activity linked back to a loss analysis. At OpEx Solutions we use a standard approach to Focused Improvement that is simple, logical and repeatable.

Before starting any Focused Improvement its is critical to understand the losses in the Organisation. These losses consume resource and so there is a cost associated with them. At OpEx Solutions we use a variety of tools such as overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), cost/loss tree and value stream mapping to highlight these losses and give them a cost.
